How do I feed kelp seaweed powder to my dog?Updated 4 days ago
Feeding kelp seaweed powder to your dog is simple. It’s a natural, whole-food supplement, so you don’t need to overcomplicate it; just mix it into their regular food at the right amount for their size.
Serving guide
Our kelp seaweed powder comes with a small scoop (1 tsp = 2.2g). The correct serving depends on your pet’s weight:
Weight | Amount |
Cats | 1/8 tsp |
Small Dogs (<10kg) | 1/2 tsp |
Medium Dogs (10-25kg) | 3/4 tsp |
Large Dogs (25-40kg) | 1 tsp |
XL Dogs (40kg+) | 2 tsp |
How to Feed:
- Sprinkle the powder directly over your dog's regular food (wet, dry, or raw).
- If your dog is fussy, mix it with a little water, broth or goat's milk before adding it to the bowl.
- Consistency is key - feed daily for the best results.
Extra Tip:
Kelp has a naturally salty, ocean-like taste. Most dogs enjoy it, but if your dog is hesitant, start with half the recommended amount and slowly increase over a week.
